Fear of Man vs. Fear of God: Which One Will You Choose?

Fear of Man vs. Fear of God: Which One Will You Choose?

Are you allowing the fear of man, or the desire for approval from others, to hinder you from fulfilling your purpose? What are you refraining from doing or saying out of concern for others' opinions?

True respect and reverence for God can conquer any fear, as perfect love – the love of God – dispels all fear (1 John 4:18). Trust in God and His plans, knowing that if He called you to it, it's for a good reason. Do not let your fear of man prevent you from fulfilling God's purpose for your life.

Don't let the fear of man prevent you from embracing God's calling in your life.

What if Moses had let his fear of man stop him from approaching Pharaoh? What if David had let the fear of man stop him from facing Goliath? What if Esther had let the fear of man stop her from entering the king's court? What about Daniel, Gideon, Joshua, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Paul? Every person whom God used had to overcome the fear of man. So, the question is, will God be able to use you?

If God has called you to something, then He will equip you for it. Do not worry about what others may say or think.

It's easy to fall into the trap of fearing what others may say or think about us. We may hold ourselves back from pursuing the calling God has over our life, or simply speaking out about the Gospel, because we are afraid of rejection or criticism. However, we must remember that our fear of man is only a temporary obstacle that can be overcome by putting our trust in God.

We need to shift our focus from seeking approval from others and start seeking God's approval. When we put our faith in God, we can tap into His strength, wisdom, and guidance. We can trust that He will equip us with everything we need to accomplish His purpose for our lives.

It's important to remember that every person whom God used in the Bible had to overcome the fear of man. They had to trust God's plan and step out in faith, even when it was scary. But in doing so, they experienced great blessings and fulfilled their destiny.

So, if you're struggling with the fear of man, take comfort in knowing that you're not alone. But don't let fear hold you back from fulfilling God's calling on your life. Take that leap of faith today, knowing that God's got you covered!

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Mathew 10:28

"Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe." Proverbs 29:25

"I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid of a man who will die, and of the son of a man who will be made like grass?" Isaiah 51:12

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7

"The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death." Proverbs 14:27
